“Family” is an often complex experience of relationships. Genealogically, family includes all the descendants of a common ancestor. All of creation meets that definition. We are each the expression, the descendant, of One Divine Creator. At the experiential level many of us have broadened the concept of family to embrace individuals based on connection and commitment rather than biology and contracts. Caring, support and intimacy are the attributes of family. For some, our biological family is a radiant demonstration of family, for others family is chosen. What is the role of Love in and as family?
