What if, instead of simply seeing forms, both animate and inanimate, you saw Life – the God Particles that are assembled as each particular form? What if, everywhere you looked, you saw the scintillating radiance of Creation? It might be dizzying or stunning or, if you lean in and trust, it could be so indescribably delicious that you would commit to remain in that state of bliss. Dogen Zenji says, “To forget the self is to become one with the world as it is.” When we become one with the world as it is – with the essence of Life – our sense of true Oneness is so intensely stirred that life as we have known it will never be the same.
