Believing in the All-encompassing Goodness and Givingness of all life (God), it is relatively easy to remember that “the Universe is for us and not against us…” One may ask the dreaded ‘why’ questions such as; “Why is there so much universal suffering and hardship”? “Why is there pain and hurt”? ‘What about poverty, hunger, pollution, injustice, etc.’? What about personal suffering which may include individual pain, grief and sorrow”? Although there seems to be no reasonable answer to the ‘why’ questions, there is however a deeper level of awareness and quietude expressed as the gift of Compassion. Compassion pulls on our heartstrings – the same way Love does. “Love overcomes everything and neutralizes all that is unlike itself. Love is God.” Gail will take you to new depths of understanding that Compassion is Love in action.
