Fazia Deen, a spectacularly effective “renaissance woman,” is a single mother of three children and a lawyer, who currently serves as the Deputy Outreach Director at Dar Al-Hijrah Islamic Center in Falls Church. Fazia is an active member of Fairfax County’s Faith Communities in Action. Through her mosque and an array of community programs, she specializes in interfaith outreach and civic engagement. Her advocacy for equity, justice and fairness has led to her mentoring and life coaching women and teens in the surrounding communities.

Fazia will be sharing with us how it is to be a professional, a woman and a Muslim in America at this time.
