Sometimes we encounter people who seem to just not “get it.” They are probably thinking the same thing about us. Each person has their own, unique world view or cosmology. We are drawn to people whose world view is similar to ours so the validity of our own view is reinforced. No view is necessarily right or wrong and none are universal. Different views are simply different. We are called to do our best to empathize – to reach beyond our comfort zone, to listen and do our best to understand the world as others see it.
