Even though rain is in the current forecast for Saturday, we will still hold this event. If you’re unable or choose not to venture out to physically join us, consider spending some time in quiet meditation, taking time to “Pause for Peace” joining us virtually in Spirit.
Every year on the first Saturday in May thousands of people around the globe participate in World Labyrinth Day as a moving meditation for world peace and celebration of the labyrinth experience. https://www.worldlabyrinthday.org/
World Labyrinth Day is an international annual event founded by The Labyrinth Society (TLS) in 2009.
Our Labyrinth Facilitator, Jane Marie Downey, ARM, M. Ed, is a CSL member and a certified Veriditas Labyrinth Facilitator. Many of you know Jane’s work from her:
- New Year’s Eve Walks for Peace in King of Prussia, PA
- The Labyrinth Program at the CSL Asilomar Conference in CA
- CSL Metro’s Intensive Program with Karen Drucker in Metro DC
Rain or shine, the Program begins at 10:00 AM DST and closes at 11:30 AM. St. Peter’s is located at: 2475 St. Peter’s Road, Malvern, PA 19355
https://www.stpetersgv.org/ has great directions. The church is three miles west of Valley Forge National Park.
NOTE: We will be holding this event, Rain or Shine! Should it rain, just bring your umbrella and raincoat.
What you need to bring:
- You and your family. Children are welcome! They LOVE the labyrinth.
- An intention for worldwide peace.
- A written note on what you wish to release to bring greater peace in your life.
- A camp chair for our discussion group after the walk.
- Should it rain, bring your umbrella and raincoat
- A love offering of your choice will be appreciated.
We hope you will join us and afterwards, perhaps, we can warm-up at an informal lunch nearby together!
