Be honest!  How often do you actually listen to all of what someone is saying before lurching off with your assumptions about what is coming next and drawing conclusions based on partial content?  It’s the difference between being fully present and fragmented.  There is a direct parallel in “manifesting” desired outcomes.  As Dr. Kenn Gordon, Spiritual Leader of Centers for Spiritual Living explains, “manifestation = thought + feeling.”  Another way of saying this is the old cliché:  “you have to be present to win.”  Unless you draw on your heart and your mind, you are not fully present in your relationships, in your use of affirmative prayer or your opportunity to be fully expressed.  Learn how to build a new habit to be gratefully, fully present, or as Thich Nhat Hanh says, “be here now.”

Affirmation: I consciously use my mind and my heart in all circumstances.
