We often speak of the unlimited givingness of God, a rewording of the statement in the Gospel of Luke that it is God’s good pleasure to give us the kingdom.  Is your response, “Yes, thank you. More please.”?  If not, have you ever asked yourself why that  is not your whole-hearted, immediate response.  I learned that response from one of my granddaughters when she was a toddler who unguardedly expected to have her desire fulfilled.

Simple acceptance sometimes seems beyond us.  What stops us?  Sometimes we have placed our faith on circumstances instead of Source.  It is the nature of the Creative Mind to respond to us, to give us what we ask when we ask it, and in the way in which we ask it.  The intellect argues, the Spirit knows.  The intellect examines; the Spirit has no opinions – it simply says, “yes.”  To use an old cliché: “Be careful what you ask for.” Then, be prepared to simply say “yes” in response.
