This is a bit of a double edged sword:  The only answer to the Divine Nudge of Spirit is “yes!’  We can try to resist, but Spirit will persist.  Our resistance only causes us short term discomfort or discontent.  In the long run, Spirit will have Its way with us, so we will only be deferring our own pleasure and gratification.  The other edge of the sword is that the Universe responds to us with “yes.”  If we insist on deferring our good, It says, “yes.”  If we declare that we’re lost and can’t find our way, It says, ”yes,” and we get to wander aimlessly. On the other hand, if we declare to be keenly alert to the wonders and generosity of Spirit, It says “yes” to that, too.  Which would you prefer?

Affirmation:  I say “yes” to my greatest yet to be: I affirm it!  I accept it!
