And the time came when the risk to remain tight in a bud was more painful than the risk it took to blossom.  Anais Nin

We love the peace and comfort of knowing that God is our strong foundation, relying always on the eternal goodness, love, wisdom, and harmony that underlie every experience and all circumstances.  We also delight in the awakening energy within us to move into the world with confidence and purpose.  It is because of our dependency on the Divine that we are successful in our individual lives.  It is also because of the infinite possibilities that exist within Divine Mind that we are able to envision and manifest a World That Works for All.

It takes courage to expand in consciousness, and we all have that spiritual asset, as “courage” simply means, “of the heart,” and we are all born of the Heart of God, whole, complete, and capable.  It is when we understand, acknowledge, and accept our place in the Universe as individualized expressions of Divine Life that we experience the freedom to create our lives as we desire.  We may be assured of wise and loving support with each clear, conscious decision we make to expand from where we have been to where we are now choosing to be.

These are new, exhilarating times of great opportunity for each of us personally, for our Beloved Community, and for the world itself.  Thank you for moving patiently and faithfully with us since March of 2020, as we invited creative connections to keep us together in so many ways.  We are stronger, wiser, more imaginative and resourceful than ever before, so let’s continue growing exponentially and co-create a new heaven here and now.

We are so grateful to our stellar “Re-Opening Team” dedicated to preparing for our first Sunday back in our physical spiritual Home.  We are returning enthusiastically to 16 Industrial Boulevard on Sunday, June 27th and plan a very special “welcome Home” to those in the area.  We will also continue live streaming for our friends at a distance and anyone preferring to watch from their homes.  In-person classes and social events will also be returning, as we continue to provide virtual offerings.  Join us this Sunday at 10:30 A.M. as Rev. Mike completes our May theme, “A Nurturing Foundation,” with his inspiring talk, “Taking a Leap.”  Just click on the “Watch Live” button on www.cslphilly.org  You may also view previous Celebrations and Living Room talks from Rev. Mike and me and check out our informative website.

We so appreciate our dedicated Practitioners’ and Practitioner Interns’ spiritual support, and they are happy to have you contact any of them via our website.

With great love and respect,

The ache for home lives in all of us.  The safe place where we can go as we are and not be questioned. ~ Maya Angelou

Although it is not a physical place, “Home” calls to our hearts for a continual return to comfort, familiarity, welcome, and serenity.  It is the consciousness of constant abiding in the very Heart of God Itself, and it is available to every sentient being.  As we desire this sweet peace and loving embrace, so we would have everyone experience such a wonderful sense of belonging and wellbeing. At the same time, there is a natural desire within all to venture into the world, exploring, experiencing, expanding, then returning to our divine dwelling.

As we become more aware of being “citizens of the world,” feeling we belong wherever we are, we also realize that we may find various “houses” into which we take our “home.” We live and move and have our being in the divine dwelling that is beyond physical measurement, forever embraced in Love and guided by Wisdom.  As we allow ourselves to be nurtured and cared for by a Presence great than we are, yet right where we are, we know our foundation is strong, and this is where we truly belong.

Our delightful “Re-Opening Team” has been working diligently to determine the right time for our coming together again at “Sweet 16,” and you will be receiving word very soon about our plan to meet again in person, while continuing our Sunday morning live stream Celebration. Our spiritual Home has continued to be a real entity in the virtual world these many months, and we are now planning carefully to return to our beautiful facility. For those who prefer to watch from their homes, and for our friends out of the area, we will continue to provide the means to be with us on Sundays and for classes and special events.  Join us this Sunday at 10:30 A.M. as we discuss, “Come On Home,” by clicking on the “Watch Live” button on www.cslphilly.org  You may also view previous Celebrations and Living Room talks from Rev. Mike and me , or just to scroll through our informative website.

Through spiritual discernment, we see that we have within us a power which is greater than anything we shall ever contact; a power that can overcome every obstacle in our experience and set us safe, satisfied, and at peace, healed and prosperous in a new light and a new life. “If God be for us who can be against us?”   ~ Ernest Holmes, Science of Mind, p. 146

Consider all the unexpected occurrences and upsets since early 2020: world-wide disease and death, financial hardships, distancing from loved ones, divisiveness among people, shootings, raging, and suffering. It is no surprise that so many people are lacking in trust, worried about the future, and dealing with great uncertainty.  This is why, more than ever, we must return to Principle, remembering the One Dependable Thing in the midst of such insecurity: The Divine Presence of Love and Wisdom.

Truly, “God is the same, today, tomorrow, and forever.” (Hebrews 13:8)  Finally, we see Something eternally true on which we can absolutely rely!  It is up to each of us to move through the fog of uncertainty to that Sacred Place within us all where we may leave the earthly concerns long enough to touch into the Infinite and be restored.  Once we have arrived at that Holy Center of the Divine, we are finally able to experience a new reality, settle into a clear and steady realization that, no matter what else appears in our world, GOD IS BIGGER THAN THAT.

Let’s get clear that you and I are not only safe, as we navigate through the world, but that we are guided, supported, loved, nurtured, and actually made new through the experiences.  Something greater is emerging, and our courage and open-heartedness is making possible the grander vision of a world that truly works for all. Our monthly theme, “A Nurturing Foundation,” supports this Sunday’s talk, “What Do You Do When You Don’t Feel Safe?” Let’s come together in faith, strength, and unity and find a new reality.

Watch for your report from the “Re-Opening Team,” as we draw closer to the actual time we may be together again at “Sweet 16,” our lovely physical dwelling place for our spiritual Home. Live streaming will continue, even when we do begin gathering, for those who prefer to watch from their homes and for our friends out of the area who have become a viable part of our Community. Watch our weekly announcements for new information as it arrives.  Click the “Watch Live” button on www.cslphilly.org to join in on Sundays, view previous Celebrations and Living Room talks from Rev. Mike and me , or just to scroll through our uplifting site.

Our Practitioners and Practitioner Interns stand ready to support you spiritually, as we move along our personal paths, and they are happy to hear from you, if you wish to contact them via our website. Prayer is our most important product!

And we enter into this paradise through the gateway of love toward one another and toward God. Love is greater than all else and covers a multitude of mistakes.  Love overcomes everything and neutralizes all that is unlike itself.  Love is God.  ~ Ernest Holmes, Science of Mind, p. 504

As Mother’s Day approaches, our thoughts tend to turn to tender care and compassion, and we realize everyone is capable of making life more comfortable for others, even those who are not parents.  There is something natural within all sentient beings that desires good for others, an altruistic desire to promote life for those near and dear, as well as for strangers.

I will be speaking on “T.L.C.” this Sunday, reminding us that each of us has an important part in lifting the “collective unconscious” by replacing fear with love, intolerance with acceptance, and judgment with respect. Of course, we honor our mothers, grandmothers, aunts, and wonderful women who have cared for and guided us along the way, and we celebrate the Feminine Aspect of the Divine within every human being.

Yes, we are moving closer to the perfect time to gather in person for those who are ready and willing to join us, as we simultaneously continue to offer live streaming. Watch our weekly announcements for new information as it arrives.  Clearly, we are not meeting in person the month of May.  Rev. Mike and I love offering our classes on Zoom, as well as sharing our Love Notes on Facebook and YouTube. Click the “Watch Live” button on www.cslphilly.org to join in on Sundays, view previous Celebrations and Living Room talks, or just to scroll through our uplifting site.

Do contact our Practitioners and Practitioner Interns via our website, as well, and find the right connection for you for a “faith lift.” We are all here for each other.
