May 3, 2022: From the Pen of Dr. Maxine

The invisible essence of Mind is Substance. That is, an unformed stuff, an energy. It is energy plus intelligence. Intelligence is conscious energy working upon unformed substance in accord with law.” ~ Ernest Holmes, Science of Mind, p. 393
We have entered a time of New Life, as trees and plants are blossoming, baby goats and lambs are being born, and we are acutely aware of our joyful and essential part in the Co-Creative Process. Just as the human process of birth includes germination, internal development, labor, and delivery, so does each manifestation including the idea, its development, and the working out and presentation of the ultimate creation.
Next weekend, we celebrate Mother’s Day, a time to allow the Nurturing Presence within all to be honored. Long after I had the amazing experience of giving birth to three children, I realized that I could use this same Creative Process to bring healthy ideas into manifestation, as well! We are “parent” to our creative intentions and do well to foster them within our hearts, as we use our fine minds to align with Infinite Mind and bring them into full view.
Also on Saturday, May 7th, from 10:00-11:30 AM we are joining together in person for a special outdoor, in-person Labyrinth Walk for World Peace at St. Peter’s Church in the Great Valley, Malvern, PA. Our Labyrinth Facilitator, Jane Marie Downey, ARM, M. Ed, is a CSL member and a certified Veriditas Labyrinth Facilitator.  Please click here for all the details and we look forward to seeing you there!
This Sunday’s talk by Rev. Mike is entitled, “Celebrating the Divine Feminine,” an expanded view of the Universal Creative Process and our part in honoring both Spirit and Soul, as we utilize the Divine Principle in our own lives. Celebrating Mother’s Day with an expanded view of universal applications will touch and lift everyone who tunes in to our Sunday morning.
Catch our live stream from the Inspiration Café at 10:30 A.M. by joining us on our website www.cslphilly.org and clicking on the orange button. Previous Celebrations and Love Notes from Rev. Mike and me are also posted there.
Everyone practicing the Science of Mind Principles truly can be called a “Practitioner of this teaching;” however, there are times we can use the support of a trained, licensed Practitioner of Religious Science. We are fortunate in having eight of these wonderful people, available to you on the Practitioner Page of our website. Whomever you select will offer clear, compassionate guidance and powerful affirmative prayer in guiding you through any experience.
With great love and respect,
Dr. Maxine
