Dear Ones,

The Master Teacher, Jesus, said: “I, of myself, do nothing. It is the Father within who doeth the works.” His realization and conscious awareness of God’s Presence within was so personal that he called It, “Abba,” the Hebrew word for “father.” As he understood that this Presence worked through him, so we must realize that this Divine Presence is the very life from which we came and It is that upon which we may rely for our constant support, nurture, guidance, and creativity.

It is as we listen with the Ear of our Heart to the voice of Spirit within that we are inspired to set valuable intentions and allow that Presence to manifest them beautifully through us. If we are to support the transformation of the world, we must begin by preparing ourselves to become clear instruments of Spirit’s activity, individually and collectively.

The next Sunday afternoon gathering in the Fellowship Hall will be on Sunday, October 5^th at 3:00 P.M. for a “Sacred Healing Service.” This is a wonderful opportunity to clear out any limiting beliefs in the subjective mind and free ourselves to a greater expression of livingness. We will use the very effective “Fear-to-Faith” process familiar to many of us. As we teach, learn, and practice the Principles of Science of Mind, we all learn to prayer affirmatively, using Spiritual Mind Treatment. We encourage you to continue this transformational practice. Still, there are times when we may find ourselves too close to a problem for effective treatments. This is the time to go to our Practitioner Page and select one of those fine people to work with you.

Dear Ones,

During confusing times, or dealing with challenging situations, we understand that we have the power and the wisdom to rise above every circumstance and bring our own loving and creative energy to transform our perspective and uplift the environment itself. Whenever we sense conflict, we may meet it with compassion and find caring and connection in its place.

We have the beautiful ability to raise others in mind and heart, as we determine to behold the Authentic Self of everyone we meet, bringing joy to everyone, as we acknowledge one another’s beauty. Having all been created out of the One Life, we remember that we are interrelated with each other and can lift and be lifted to a greater awareness of Who and Whose we are. As we look past human frailty and error, perceive the Beloved within all beings, and re-discover their Divinity, we are all raised to a greater experience of joy and aliveness.

Dear Ones,

It is in opening ourselves to the Infinite Wisdom and setting the powerful intentions to which we are guided that we truly transform our lives.  It was as we welcomed Spirit’s guidance and followed with the visioning we did as a community, that we found our way to our new, beautiful place to gather and celebrate. Once we surrender to a Power that is greater than we are and that resides within us, Grace tends to move us in the most wonderful directions.

Many of you have examples of the successful outcomes of following these two important activities: Opening our hearts to Spirit and following Its guidance. Knowing that God deals in newness, expansion, and infinite possibilities, we wisely align with this Power, co-creating the fulfillment of our hearts’ desires. I am grateful to be moving forward with you in newness.

We are thrilled to begin this new chapter in the life of GPCSL and look forward to gathering and sharing afterward during Hospitality time.

Join us for this opportunity to review the previous year with your Board of Trustees and to make plans for the future of our Beloved Community. Dear Ones,

Of course, we know that change is a constant and that it can be cumbersome for some who may be challenged in releasing the familiar and stepping into the unknown. We also know that the Changeless Presence constantly nurtures and guides us on these journeys of transformation, so there is every reason to relax into the Divine Right Activity that is operative in our personal lives and in our Beloved Community.

As we deepen our faith in the Spirit that cherishes us and the Law which responds to us, it becomes not only easy but delightful to move along a path of greater discovery. There is an air of newness and excitement this time of year, as we all “go back to school” and invite the Wisdom within us to guide us through all the changes with Grace.

This Sunday’s Celebration was pre-recorded at the Inspiration Café in Paoli, PA and will be streamed to you on Sunday, September 8^th at 10:30 A.M. Mike and I chose to present a “He Said/She Said” talk on, “The Art of Change.”  Our next in-person gathering will take place on THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 12^th at the United Church of Christ Valley Forge in Wayne, PA., and you are invited to join us at 6:30 for Meditation, as we prepare for our 7:00 P.M. Celebration in their lovely Sanctuary. All our Thursday gatherings will be streamed on Sunday morning at 10:30 A.M., as usual.

This is an exciting new chapter for our Spiritual Community, and we are thrilled about our partnership with this lovely and welcoming congregation.

Our new Music Director, Ray Adkins, will begin that night and continue bringing his musical talents each following Thursday Celebration. Come and experience the joy and beauty of our wonderful gatherings in this warm and inviting facility. We will also be meeting from time to time in their Fellowship Hall on Sunday afternoons. The first one will be our Annual Community Meeting at 3:00 P.M. on Sunday, September 15^th.
