Dear Ones,
Although people do not typically reach the level of Ascended Master overnight (if at all, in this lifetime), we do make significant, incremental steps toward our re-identification with Spirit. Our beautiful, evolutionary process usually includes both joys and challenges, all of which contribute to our successful movement forward and upward. Rather than wishing for immediate nirvana, we are wise to appreciate each rung of the ladder we have climbed and the new perspective from which we are able to see at that new vantage point.
Let’s celebrate each successful embodiment of our True Nature, appreciating, rather than judging our progress, whether we consider it large or small. God deals neither with size nor space nor time, so aligning ourselves with the Divine View is wise and appropriate. We are moving in the right direction, deepening our faith, and expanding our consciousness of Life, Love, Light, Peace, Power, Beauty, and Joy.
Begin the month in a beautiful way by being present with us on September 7th at UCCVF, 45 Walker Road, Wayne, PA, as we begin a new theme, “Lifetime Learners.” My topic will be, “Baby Steps: A Big Deal to the Baby.” If you are in the area, please join us for Celebration at 1:00 P.M., and you may come at 12:30 P.M. to join the Practitioner of the Day for a 15-minute Meditation before Celebration. Our extended family members are a significant part of our Beloved Community.
Tonight, Sept. 2, we begin our first fall class on Zoom, 6:30 to 9:00 P.M. EDT. “Spiritual Practices and Principles.” It is a five-week accredited CSL class, using both the student workbook and Ernest Holmes’ This Thing Called You. You may still join this bright and open-hearted group by registering immediately by clicking here, in order to receive your materials.
Be sure to visit UCC’s beautiful, new kitchen, which we will also have the privilege of using, and save the date for our Thanksgiving Feast on Sunday, November 23rd.
