Dear Ones,
As the Master Teacher taught us to “Judge Not,” we are learning the lesson of lessening our negative reactions to unpleasant events that may occur and, rather, to look past the appearances to the Divine Harmony and Infinite Intelligence within them. Calling forth the Good is always preferable to criticizing the illusion, and it is in this way that we are able to find the blessing within the challenge.
Maintaining our focus on the eternal and everlasting Presence, it becomes more possible to release fear, blame, and false belief in the transitory condition. We are at cause in choosing such intentions, aligning with Truth, and inviting the Good to come forth into our lives. Indeed, we have sovereignty, and our oneness with the Divine and powerful use of the Law ensures a life of joy and fulfillment. “Look for the Good and praise It!”
Join Rev. Mike this Sunday, November 9th as he reminds us that, “Everything is a Blessing” at the 1:00 P.M. ET Celebration. You may always come a bit early, at 12:30 P.M., to join the Practitioner of the Day for a 15-minute Meditation before Celebration. If you are part of our online Sundays, log onto our website, www.cslphilly.org and go to the orange Watch Online button (or just click here) to be with us virtually. We are grateful that our extended family members are a significant part of our Beloved Community.
Mark your calendars for Sunday afternoon, November 23rd when we will once again come together for our Thanksgiving Feast in Fellowship Hall. You know how great our cooks and bakers are, including Chef Jerry Goard, who will prepare the turkeys and gravy. We’ll get to contribute to this warm and festive Community occasion with our favorite dishes. This will follow our special Thanksgiving Service which includes our Bountiful Bouquet.
Although most of our members and friends are well-versed in the art of affirmative prayer, or Spiritual Mind Treatment, there are times we are wise to reach out to one of our Licensed Professional Practitioners for a spiritual uplift. Click here to go to their dedicated page on our website and can be contacted for a personal appointment. They are also available on Sundays for brief meetings after service, and the Prayer Chest receives your requests for spiritual mind treatment.
With great love and respect,
Dr. Maxine
