Today, I am attending Centers for Spiritual Living Business Meeting at its Annual Convention here in Charleston, South Carolina. We continue enjoying outstanding speakers, inspiring workshops, fabulous music, and great camaraderie with conscious, caring, compassionate, and clever colleagues. We have brought a keen consciousness of Love to this southern community, not only enjoying its beauty, but discovering more of its actual history. We are aware of the inequity and injustice many of our brothers and sisters experienced over the past 200 years; yet, we are determined to continue encouraging and inspiring greater unity, respect, and possibility with our presence here.

As Emma Curtis Hopkins stated, “Awareness is curative,” so we must acknowledge anything still out of alignment with Truth, along with respect, acknowledgement, and appreciation for all beings. This Global Spiritual Community is committed to co-creating “A World That Works for Everyone,” truly, “A World That Works for All.” Here, in this environment of oneness, harmony, open-hearted communication, and mutual respect and admiration, we are experiencing such a world, a microcosm of the macrocosm of the greater human race. We can be encouraged that so many people are aligning with Divine Love and Infinite Wisdom to bring about what we have been praying about: “Heaven on earth.”

Tomorrow is Valentine’s Day, and we wish you plenty of love. The Greeks had several words for love: Eros – romantic love; Storge – familial love; Philios – friend love; and Agape – Divine Love. All forms of love flow from the Heart of the Divine, each having an important role in human life. It is when we understand that Love is an attribute of God and that we all are individualized manifestations of God’s Life that we realize our Essence to be Love Itself. How we express that Love has everything to do with how happy, successful, and in tune with life we are.

I still send Valentine Day cards to my grandchildren and to my adult children, all containing fun stickers for them to use however they wish to employ them, and they continue to insist on receiving them each year! My sweetheart and I love to exchange cards and small gifts, and I always receive flowers and a lovely dinner invitation. We love to wish our friends love and more love, and we delight in the Divine Love that nourishes, heals, inspires, and guides us to every creative, constructive, and compassionate decision. You see? We can and do have it all when we open our hearts and realize that Love is the very Life Essence of us all.

News Flash: Nothing in the material world ever remains the same. The even greater news is that the Universal Creative Intelligence, available to all of us at all times, is a constant power for transformation. The moment we remove our fixed attention from the transitory facts of our lives or undesirable circumstances in the world, we then have the ability to supplant them with a new vision and intention. We know that the Power of Love dissolves all supposed evidence to the contrary and that It operates through Divine Mind to transform our consciousness into deep faith, our experiences into joyful occurrences, and our personal associations into sweet, rewarding relationships.

As we view our world through the Eyes of Love, we can also transform erroneous beliefs about separation or exclusion into warm, compassionate, respectful connections with individuals, as well as with groups of people. This is Black History Month, a perfect opportunity to re-view inaccurate beliefs and incomplete accounts about our brothers and sisters. Much has been excluded from our education about their innate value and major contributions. Now is the time to open our minds to more authentic information and our hearts to the discovery of the universal value of all people.

Let’s let Love lead the way to the joy of co-creating a “World That Works for All!” Our Beloved Community is dedicated to this sacred work. Indeed, we are a Transformation Station!

Divine Love is the greatest Power in the universe, and it is time humanity awakened to Its Healing Presence, available to everyone, everywhere, and at all times. Oh, It is so much more than greeting cards can express, as It is the very Foundation of Life Itself.  We all have the ability to tune in to the Presence of Love in the Universe and within every heart. We also have the joyful responsibility to circulate that Love and watch lives change for the better, beginning with our own.

When we are willing to look beyond unlovely appearances and see more truly from the Eye of the Heart, instantaneous transformation can occur.  This is because external conditions have no power of their own, except what we may erroneously feed them. Maintaining our attention on Truth opens up unlimited possibilities for us personally, as well as globally. Indeed, “What the world needs now is Love,” and it is we who implement the change by touching that healing chord of Love within us and seeing through the greater prism of Compassion. Let’s commit to the sacred work of remembering Who and Whose we are, deepening our conscious connection to Spirit, and walking God’s Love out into the world.

Having just completed our annual January focus on the Basics of Science of Mind, many people are implementing or reintroducing a daily practice of prayer and meditation.  It is important for us to practice our Principle, and this teaching is available to all, as Spirit is forever within and around us and the Law is always ready to respond to us.  There are times, however, when we are wise to reach out to a Licensed Practitioner to assist with any human challenge that is ready to be transformed through a clear and loving consciousness.  These fine people can be found on the Practitioner Page of our website and will respond to your call or text to set up an appointment with you.
