Dear Ones,

We have a very special Easter Celebration planned for you this Sunday at 1:00 P.M. at UCCVF, 45 Walker Road, Wayne, PA. Guest musicians will add to the joy of the day, as will our special Bountiful Bouquet ritual, while we celebrate, “The Plentiful Harvest.” Please be here with our Community if you are in the area; otherwise, you may still be a part of our Celebration on YouTube by going to our website: www.cslphilly.org and clicking on the orange Watch Online button.

Since we will not be offering an in-person Good Friday Service this year, you may wish to access one of our previous services on our website. This is a sweet way to prepare for our joyful Easter Celebration on Sunday. (You can click here to view.)

As most of you know, our beloved John Szal left this earth experience on Sunday, April 6th. His Celebration of Life will take place on Saturday, April 26th, at UCCVF. Gathering will be at 2:00 P.M., and the Service at 3:00 P.M. We will honor this great soul with great love and send him off with immense appreciation to his beautiful, new expression of Life in Spirit.

I am deeply grateful for our teaching, our Beloved Community, the continual bursting forth of New Life for all, and for our ability to lovingly support each other in life’s significant passages and celebrations. Rev. Mike and I thank you for being a significant part of our lives and for loving one another, as we move along our spiritual journeys together.

Do not hesitate to reach out to a trained Professional Practitioner for spiritual support. You will find their page on our website.  They also offer the gift of a brief “Three-Minute-Miracle” after Celebration on Sundays, and the Prayer Chest is available for your requests. If you arrive half an hour early on Sunday, you may join the Practitioner of the Day for 15 minutes of peaceful contemplation in the Meditation Room.

With great love and respect,

Dr. Maxine

Dear Ones,

A Beloved Community is one that honors, respects, encourages, and supports its members and friends in times of joy and those of sorrow. On Sunday morning, April 6th, our precious, long-time member and supporter of GPCSL, John Szal, left this earth plane and began his beautiful, new journey in the Heart of God. His vast contributions to his dear family, friends, and our Community are the legacy of this noble and generous soul.

Captain John Szal mentored us all in so many ways, guiding and encouraging our growth, individually and as a Center.  He was affectionately known as “The Grand Imperial Poobah,” supreme organizer of glorious events and fundraisers. His financial expertise helped us make wise decisions for our Center, as he headed up the Abundance, Asset and Allocation Team and kept our Board of Trustees on track. John’s dedication to Principle and devotion to his loved ones remained strong throughout his physical challenges, and he made his usual graceful exit, as he completed giving his gifts here on earth and began a glorious, new life adventure. Gratefully, we acknowledge his ongoing contributions to all and will share the Memorial information as soon as plans are complete.

Please be with us on Sunday at 1:00 P.M. at UCCVF, 45 Walker Road, Wayne, PA., as we continue the theme for the month of April: “Emerging Life.” Our focus will be, “This Orderly Universe,” addressing the Universal Intelligence that works throughout creation to grow the seeds planted. Join us if you are in the area; otherwise, you may still be a part of our Celebration on YouTube by going to our website: www.cslphilly.org and clicking on the orange Watch Online button.

Although we encourage all our folks to learn and practice spiritual mind treatment (affirmative prayer), there are times we are wise to reach out to a trained Professional Practitioner for spiritual support. They are all listed on their dedicated page on our website, so contact any of them for assistance.

Dr. Maxine

Dear Ones,

When healthy seeds are planted and well cared for, we have every reason to expect good results. If, however, toxic seeds find their way into the soil, the consequences can be dire. Similarly, as we continue keeping the High Watch, setting conscious intentions to keep our words, thoughts, feelings, and actions in Principle, we can expect healthy results.

Unpleasant, unexpected situations are not necessarily our responsibility, as the human race drops both wholesome and toxic “seeds” into its collective consciousness, and we may experience the results. We do, however, have a Power within us that is capable of transforming any condition through a vital and health-giving change of consciousness, often followed by constructive action.

This is the season of growing and thriving as new life emerges. Let’s continue taking the High Road, allowing ourselves to be Spirit-filled and following Its Divine Wisdom in doing what is ours to do. Each of us is essential to encouraging New Life to emerge, personally and globally.

Join us Sunday at 1:00 P.M. at UCCVF, 45 Walker Road, Wayne, PA., as we begin a new theme for the month of April: “Emerging Life.” Our focus will be, “It Begins With a Seed,” and your presence will be a blessing to us all. If you cannot be with us in person, you may still be a part of us, as we live stream our Celebration on YouTube. Go to our website: www.cslphilly.org and click on the orange Watch Online button.

Our licensed professional Practitioners are ready to support you on your spiritual journey and can be found on their dedicated page on our website. They also offer the gift of a brief “Three-Minute-Miracle” after Celebration on Sundays, and you may always place a request in the Prayer Chest. Consider arriving by 12:30 to join Each Sunday, the Practitioner of the Day facilitates a brief Meditation prior to our gathering.

“Up, Up, and Away!” Today, Rev. Mike and I are flying to San Diego, California, to visit with friends and grandchildren. This wonderful idea of “flying” above challenges and learning to see from a higher perspective can be a wonderful lesson. As we deepen our meditation, open our hearts to God’s Presence, and look up and away from the external appearances, we make room for a new vision and a more peaceful experience.

Often, just a brief “time out” (or, more appropriately, “time IN”) can shift our perspective and allow us to become more effective in the everyday world. In fact, each time we raise our sights to Divine Possibilities, we strengthen our High Resolve and live more serenely and successfully.

We’ll be back Saturday and ready to greet you all on Sunday at 1:00 P.M.E.T. at UCCVF, 45 Walker Road, Wayne, PA, as we complete the monthly theme, “Divine Discipline and Delight.” We’ll be focusing on “A Perfect Payoff,” celebrating the good work we have been doing, individually and collectively, to refrain from negativity and keep our minds focused on life-affirming ideas. If you cannot be with us in person, you may still be a part of us, as we live stream our Celebration on YouTube. Go to our website: www.cslphilly.org and click on the orange Watch Online button.

You will find our licensed professional Practitioners on their dedicated page on our website and choose whomever you wish to schedule an appointment. They offer the gift of a brief “Three-Minute-Miracle” after Celebration on Sundays, and you may always place a request in the Prayer Chest. Consider arriving by 12:30 P.M. to join Each Sunday, the Practitioner of the Day facilitates a brief Meditation prior to our gathering.

Dear Ones,

Today, Rev. Mike and I are co-hosting our Upper Main Line Interfaith Alliance luncheon meeting at United Church of Christ, where we also hold our Celebrations Sunday afternoons. We love this interfaith community of ministers, rabbis, priests, and imams, respecting and appreciating the various ways we practice our faith traditions, while cherishing our underlying Oneness with the God of our understanding and with one another.

Understanding that we are all created from the One Life, living, moving, and having our being in God, we remember that the Divine Intention for each of us and for all humankind is to live from the sweet and powerful awareness that this Perfect Life is the only life there is to have or to be. It is in pursuing this consciousness of the Sacred within and all around us that we shift our focus from the world of effect to the Life Divine.

How beautiful it is to appreciate and honor the bountiful ways in which God shows up in the world and to celebrate our ability to see Truth beyond error, Beauty beyond appearances, and Unity in multiplicity. Let’s cultivate the habit of seeing God everywhere and within all.

Join us this Sunday at 1:00 P.M. at UCCVF, 45 Walker Road, Wayne, PA, as we continue the monthly theme, “Divine Discipline and Delight.” We’ll be focusing on “A Divine Design,” recalling that the underlying and eternal plan for all reveals itself as we continue our spiritual work. If you cannot be with us in person, you may still be a part of us, as we live stream our Celebration on YouTube. Go to our website: www.cslphilly.org and click on the orange Watch Online button.
