Whether we call them “challenges,” “problems,” “obstacles,” “lessons,” or “opportunities,” we tend to run into “bumps in the road” on our evolutionary paths. How well we deal with them has much to do with the perspective from which we view them and the amount of faith we have in a Power that can change circumstances into blessings and transform difficulties into divine delights.

It has been said that pebbles on our paths can be positioned into trailblazing patterns that actually make the journey more pleasant. Even boulders can be rearranged for greater access and ease in traveling. It’s all energy, so let’s maintain a consciousness high enough to make the shift from limitation to freedom and enjoy safe passage from one experience to the next.

Dear Ones,

In our current focus on “Birthing Greater Ideas,” we have a sacred opportunity to center our attention on individual intentions for expansion. Whether it is a new concept about health, prosperity, relationships, or creative activity, All Good is available to us through the Generous Spirit and the Dependable Law.

As Ernest Holmes explained, “There is a Power for Good in the Universe, greater than you are, and you can use It.” In truth, we use this Power whether or not we are aware of it, just as we breathe in the air around us without really giving it much thought. Just as we are sustained by Spirit, so are we free to employ the Law consciously and to expand our current awareness and experience.

As we vision together for a World That Works for All, we are not only using this beautiful Creative Power, but we are inviting It to use US by setting grand intentions for our Beloved Spiritual Community and its expansion, as well as for bringing forth a more peaceful and loving world. Let’s awaken our personal and shared Divine Vision by setting and intending the highest and the best for ourselves and all beings.

Dear Ones,

Our nation is about to celebrate its 249^th birthday, and we are tasked to insist on the continuation of our democracy, despite any attempts within or without our country to jeopardize our freedom. The most important thing we can do is to keep the High Watch. The original intention of independence and freedom to thrive, individually and collectively, is ready for an even greater Vision. As our July theme suggests, we are preparing to “Birth a Greater Idea!”

We continue to deepen our conscious awareness of the Spirit which provides constantly and generously for our every need, and we learn the elegant and effective use of the Law of Mind which reliably brings about what we pray about. As we discover how our conscious intention and firm faith enhance our personal life experiences, it is the next natural step to enter into the greater arena of the larger community. Together, we are already making a difference in what Jung referred to as, “the collective unconscious,” or what Ernest Holmes called, “the human race consciousness.”

Rather than allowing the “group think” to enter into our portion of this subjective mind, we are wise to reverse the process, setting our creative intentions of unity, peace, understanding, plenty, and the Power of Love into this race mind. We are not alone in this noble endeavor, as the spiritual awareness of humanity truly has gotten the attention of the millions of awakened people who are tipping the scales in favor of Intelligent, Divine Right Activity. We are grateful to be a part of the solution.

The Great, Creative Intelligence of this Universe is at work within all creation and dwells peacefully and powerfully within each one of us. It is as we become acutely aware of Its immediate presence in our very hearts and minds that infinite possibilities become measurable realities for us. As the Master Teacher explained, “It is not I, but the Presence within that does the work.” 

The more effectively we surrender to Spirit’s Loving Presence and the more firmly we stand in our faith, the more freely and continuously our Good flows through us and into our life experiences. We needn’t strive nor struggle to enhance the blessings in our lives, but simply invite the Infinite Power to work through us to establish a greater expression of Itself on earth.

Although most of us are aware of the necessity of enlarging our consciousness, deepening our faith, and transforming limited belief patterns into wholesome, new ideas, we don’t always know where or how to start the process. The question, “Where do I begin?” often blocks our progress, so, rather, let’s ask, “How can I open my heart to greater love and my mind to larger possibilities?” One universal response to this query is, “Enter into gratitude!”

The more we bless and praise everyone and everything in our current experience, the freer we become to experience greater freedom and joy. The Greek word, “Metanoya” is used in the Bible as “repentance,” whereas the root meaning of the word is, “turn the mind in another direction.” The moment we remove our gaze from the unwanted to the truly desired, we begin planting constructive ideas in the fertile soil of Divine Mind, with the happy results of a more wonderful life experience.

Grasping the “magic key” of thankfulness, we are ready to unlock new opportunities of constructive thinking, peaceful feeling, and expanded creative possibilities. Additionally, the more we join with others to transform subjective patterns of lack or limitation, the more beautifully we co-create what better serves us personally and globally.
