Dec. 30, 2025: From the Pen of Dr. Maxine

Dear Ones,

“Where did the year go?” Actually, it doesn’t “go” anywhere until we do our inner, spiritual work in reviewing, blessing, and releasing all the experiences from it. As we open our consciousness to the fresh, new opportunities of the new year, we co-create an inspired future for ourselves, our loved ones, our Beloved Community, and the world.

One beautiful way to accomplish this loving release and to open to a greater vision is to participate in our Annual World Peace Meditation tomorrow, Wednesday, December 31st at the AVE Clubhouse, 311 E. Lancaster, Malvern. We gather upstairs between 6:30 and 6:45 A.M. in order to begin right at 7:00 A.M. (Greenwich Mean Time: Noon.) Rev. Mike leads us in a peaceful, powerful experience of mindful meditation, after which we enjoy a communal breakfast at Nudy’s in the Grove at 30 Liberty Blvd. in Malvern.

Our new theme for 2026  is, “Deep Roots; Strong Wings,” and this month’s theme is, “Seeking and Finding the Source.”  Each January, we focus on the basics of Religious Science, as found in the first four introductory chapters of Science of Mind by Ernest Holmes. This Sunday’s topic will be, “The Spiritual Universe,” based on Chapter I, and we will enjoy amazing music, not only by our Ray Adkins, but also from our special guest, Master Classical Guitarist, Django Klumpp. Django will also delight us with an hour concert from 3:00 to 4:00 P.M. that afternoon, and refreshments will be provided between our Celebration and the Concert.

A brief meditation is offered from 12:30 to 12:35 by our Practitioner of the Day in the “Couch Room,” just prior to our gathering in the Sanctuary for our 1:00 P.M.  ET Celebration. If you are out of the area, please join us online by logging on to our website, www.cslphilly.org and go to the orange Watch Online button to be with us virtually.

Our Licensed Professional Practitioners are available to work with you, lifting you in prayer and helping to deepen your faith.  Click here to see their dedicated page on our website and contact any of them for a personal appointment. They are also here for “3-Minute Miracles” for brief meetings on Sundays after service, and the Prayer Chest receives your requests for spiritual mind treatment by the “God Squad.”

With great love and respect,

Dr. Maxine
