Welcome to a brand, new year, a perfect time for us to establish and honor our greater vision for our individual spiritual evolution, as well as for our Beloved Community, GPCSL, our nation, and the entire earth. Our combined spiritual focus is powerful, as we live and move and have our very being in the Infinite Mind and Heart of God, divinely designed to bring about happier and healthier tomorrows.
Our theme for 2026 is, “Deep Roots; Strong Wings,” and we are enhancing our awareness of our powerful connection to Source and everyone’s ability to soar in consciousness into larger realms of wisdom, compassion, and joyful spiritual activity. The January Theme, based on the first four introductory chapters in Ernest Holmes’ Science of Mind, and it is, “Seeking and Finding the Source.” This is a perfect time to invite interested friends to learn about the basics of our teaching. It is also a great refresher for long-time students of Science of Mind.
This Sunday’s topic will be, “Yes, Take It Personally” based on Chapter II, and folks often look over each chapter prior to the Sunday talk. It’s a bit like a “mini-class” and stimulates conversation at refreshment time. Do consider enrolling in one of our classes that begin next week, and check our website for information and registration.
A brief meditation is offered from 12:30 to 12:45 by our Practitioner of the Day in the “Couch Room,” just prior to our gathering in the Sanctuary for our 1:00 P.M. ET Celebration. If you are out of the area, please join us online by logging on to our website, www.cslphilly.org and go to the orange Watch Online button to be with us virtually.
Our Licensed Professional Practitioners are available to work with you, lifting you in prayer and helping to deepen your faith. Click here to see their dedicated page on our website and contact any of them for a personal appointment. They are also here for “3-Minute Miracles” for brief meetings on Sundays after service, and the Prayer Chest receives your requests for spiritual mind treatment by the “God Squad.”
With great love and respect,
Dr. Maxine
