We must cleave to the good, and trust absolutely in the Law of God to bring about any desired end. Spirit will mold our purposes when we allow It to do so. It is as we learn to depend upon the Dependable that we succeed in every endeavor to improve our lives and to enhance the world around us. In remembering our Source, we become open to the healing of conditions and the revealing of our Greater Truth: You and I are unique expressions of the Living God, guided by the Presence of Spirit, and fulfilled through the Law of Mind.
As we open our minds to new possibilities and our hearts to the holy happenings, we align more closely with the divine intention for each of us, simply “To let God be God in us.” (Meister Eckhart) In this way, we are able to lift the consciousness of those around us and bring greater love, clarity, prosperity, and wholeness to the world itself. Our theme this month is, “Reawaken and Renew,” and Sunday’s message will be, “The Solidarity of Spirit.” Be sure to check out our classes, beginning in just a few days: Rev. Mike’s five-week, “Change Your Thinking; Change Your Life,” Saturdays from 1:00 – 3:30, beginning Sept. 11th, and my four Tuesday class, “Four Agreements” from 6:30 – 8:30 P.M., starting Sept. 14th, both on Zoom. You may wish to join our Practitioner of the Day in the Upper Room each Sunday for a quiet, 20 minute meditation at 10:00 A.M., then greet your friends prior to our 10:30 A.M. Celebration. We follow CDC recommendations, wear masks indoors, and use color-coded name tags to communicate people’s choices for the degree of personal connection or social distancing desired. Please respect these guidelines, as we enjoy being with each other in a simplified-yet-warm-and-welcoming environment.
