Nov 17, 2020: From the Pen of Dr. Maxine

When we constructively praise and creatively bless, life abounds with love, peace and joy. Let goodness shine forth. Let us learn to see that everyone is an evolving Christ. ~ Ernest Holmes, Science of Mind, pp. 434-435
It is when we open our hearts to the Beauty within all beings and the Harmony underlying every circumstance that we live in the fullness of True Thanksgiving. Seeing and sensing the Divine Life expressing in all, over all, and through all, we deepen our appreciation and lift ourselves and others to a grander level of consciousness. Let’s determine to refrain from judgment, criticism, and complaint and to celebrate every moment of each day by looking through *“God Goggles” at all we perceive. As we consciously praise everyone we meet and honestly raise them in our hearts and minds to their highest good, we are fulfilling our purpose to make a difference in our lives and in the world.
This is a wonderful exercise, a beautiful spiritual practice, that opens us all to a more magnificent expression of Life. It can be applied to everyone and everything at any time, and the gratification is instant! The mental/emotional shift from narrow thinking and restricted living to a full-on manifestation of peace and joy occurs as soon as we move authentically from opinion to appreciation, Let’s prepare for our Thanksgiving celebration this week by seeing beyond appearances and valuing the divinity within the humanity.
Each Sunday at 10:30 A.M., we have the pleasure of live streaming to you our weekly virtual gathering, and this Sunday is our annual Thanksgiving Celebration. We expect to connect heart-to-heart, even though we will be joining together from various locations. Just go to our website, www.cslphilly.org to be directed to You Tube or Facebook. Our November theme is, “What is Ours to Do,” and this week’s talk will be, “Praising and Raising.” Archived Sunday Celebrations and Rev.
