This week’s focus is on the “Learning” part of our Purpose Statement: “Living, Loving, Learning: Spirituality That Works!” Let’s discover the fundamental, Universal Laws, align with them, and use them to enhance our lives and the lives of others. Learning the dependability of the Law of Sowing Reaping, we begin using the Power for Good in the way it is divinely intended: for GOOD! Understanding our unity with the Presence and our access to the Power, we recognize our ability to co-create a wonderful world, beginning with our own sphere of influence.

Tonight, we begin a deep and delightful ten-week accredited class, “The Essential Ernest Holmes,” on Zoom from 6:30 to 9:00 P.M.  Beau Smith, R.Sc.P. and I will be co-teaching this informative, inspirational, and lively class for those who have registered on our Events Page. The more we are willing to gain knowledge of our teaching, the deeper the wisdom we are able to experience and employ for successful living. Even if you are not enrolled in the class, it could benefit you to purchase and study this great book.

Join us this Sunday at 10:30 A.M., as we gather at Wilson Farm Park for our Morning Celebration. It will not be live-streamed this week but will be recorded and available for viewing on our website, www.cslphilly.org later in the afternoon. We are excited to be together in person and plan to enjoy a social hour with refreshments afterward. Continuing our theme for the month of September, this week’s talk will be, “From Knowledge to Wisdom,” celebrating the joy we find in studying the Principles of the Science of Mind.  If you are able to join us, simply click here and let us know.

Since our Community’s Purpose Statement is: “Living, Loving, Learning,” we are dedicating the month of September to taking a deep dive into each of these intentions, “Loving” being our focus this week.  This is, of course, far more than sentimentality, for Divine Love is the Life Force of the Universe, and, as each of us become a well-tuned instrument for Its flow to others, we elevate life on the planet.

The statement, “Love one another” was never more necessary to honor than the present time, for divisiveness cannot stand up to the sweet unification that comes when we wrap one another in the mantle of Love.  True compassion does not seek anything but understanding, respect, and appreciation.  This, of course, begins with each of us, as we honor the divinity within our own humanity and love ourselves enough to become passionate about carrying the Fire of God’s Love wherever we go.

As we lift each other in Love, we establish a greater sense of Peace and an environment of Unity.  We can do this together, so let’s begin today.

Life: The animating Principle of Being . . . that Inner Something that makes everything live. Ernest Holmes, Science of Mind, p. 606

There is One Life; that Life is God’s Life; that Life is your Life and my Life now! Let’s dive more deeply into that animating Presence, allow ourselves to feel renewed each day, and live our lives to the fullest. We know we are inspired, encouraged, and guided by the Indwelling Wisdom, animated by Infinite Energy, and expanded every moment into successful exploration of intriguing realms of opportunity.

Let’s continue stepping into larger, deeper, wider circles of living, as we acknowledge and invite the animating Spirit within us to lead us into greater expressions of aliveness. There is no limit to the fulness of Life that is available to us all. God is Infinite Life, and each of us is a unique and beautiful individualization of that Life . . . so let’s live it!

We know that our perspective determines our consciousness of “heaven” or “hell” here on earth, and that most of us have dwelt in both “places.” The great news is that it is always possible, although not necessarily easy, to make a different choice. We live fully in peace and freedom when we do not permit ourselves to become dragged down into personal challenges or world situations. This is not to say these do not exist, but the truth is that such external conditions have no power of their own and are as fleeting as we allow them to be.

Granted, there are grave concerns on the planet at this time, and it can “feel like hell” if we allow our attention to become excessively focused on the relative world. A major shift in our intention to reveal a greater truth truly can begin bringing heaven to earth. I love Rickie Byars’ song, “I’m Choosing Heaven Today” and suggest we all make that wise and wonderful choice.
