While Rev. Mike and I are vacationing in New England this week, we are certainly seeing our beautiful world through new eyes, discovering charming places and meeting interesting people. We have the added pleasure of the company of our young adult grandson, Chris, making our adventures even more wonderful. He always expands our view in helping us explore our surroundings. Whether you may be traveling just now or at home, you are still able to see your world differently, simply by setting an intention to do so.
It is really not a matter of “setting the world right,” but “seeing the world rightly,” elevating our vision from the relative to the Absolute, willingly dissolving all barriers to the Unity of Spirit, and diving deeply into the Divine Presence within everything and everyone. We can take a vacation from preconceived ideas, negative emotions, and limited opinions, wherever we may be. Let’s give ourselves the gift of seeing with new eyes, celebrating our spiritual vision, and delighting in a Higher Perspective.
Join one of our Practitioners for a quiet, twenty-minute Meditation in the Upper Room each Sunday at 10:00 A.M., prior to Celebration, then enjoy a moment or two to greet your friends as we gather downstairs. It is sweet to be together again, as we follow CDC recommendations, wear masks indoors, and use color-coded name tags to communicate people’s choices for the degree of personal connection or social distancing desired. Even though we are not yet singing or providing refreshments, it feels wonderful to be with each other. Of course, we will continue live streaming, as well.
