Dear Ones,

Remembering that we are all moving along our own spiritual evolutionary paths, we are wise to “keep our eyes on the prize,” looking upward and forward rather than dwelling in or rehashing the past. Like an occasional glance in the rear-view mirror, we may benefit from recognizing how far we have already come and acknowledging our current place on the road to enlightenment. More importantly, however, we are sowing the powerful seeds that shape an inspired future—and that can only be done in this precious moment of NOW.

As we continue this month’s theme, “From Showers to Flowers,” we give thanks for all that has brought us to this beautiful point in our unfolding journey. We are grateful for the Source that supplies every need and for the Law that knows exactly how to bring forth our heart’s desires. We set clear and compassionate intentions, creating new mental equivalents—spiritual prototypes—filling them with passion, expectancy, and that marvelous prayer-propellant: Faith!

Dear Ones,

Our new theme for the month of May is, appropriately, “From Showers to Flowers,” as the weather here is beginning to shift, and we are quite delighted with the gorgeous blossoms popping up everywhere.  Of course, we’ll go deeper into the idea of courageously moving through challenging or unpleasant times and reaping the blessings we can acknowledge have emerged.  The gifts are always there and require only our willingness to release any negative feelings about the experience and to open to the blessings that assist us in moving forward on our spiritual journey.

It is in this transformative practice of maintaining our attention on possibilities, instead of problems, that we learn to live a rich and rewarding life. The power of our focus is greater than we may have known, and the discipline required to make positive changes is well worth it.  We are not alone in these endeavors, as we certainly have each other in our spiritual communities for loving support, and we are always lifted and loved by God.

Dear Ones,

May is full of great events to celebrate, beginning today with Cinco de Mayo, followed by Mother’s Day next Sunday, then our Zoom “Town Hall” meeting the afternoon of the 17th, New Member Sunday on May 24th, then Ray Adkins’ “One Man Dog” Concert on May 30th . We are actively engaged in Life, happy to share these wonderful occasions with family, friends, and one another.

A nurturing Presence guides us in these beautiful pursuits, as we are always
nourished, supported, directed, and sustained by the Indwelling Spirit.
Even as we honor our earthly mothers and care providers, we recognize the
Divine Love that guides and fulfills us all and allows these dear humans to
become instruments of compassion and inspiration.

Just as you and I were conceived by the Infinite Mind and Heart of God, so
do we, as individualizations of God, conceive beautiful ideas, allow their
nurture, and celebrate their manifestation. We are forever “giving birth” to
healthy, creative, constructive ideas and bringing them into earthly form. It
is the same Creative Intelligence, whether expressing on the personal or
Infinite level. Let us choose wisely and care lovingly for each divine idea.

Dear Ones,

It can be quite interesting to watch bread dough rise, as the yeast in the ingredients causes it to double in size, magically assuming grander proportions than the small lump of dough it started out to be.  Not until we “punch” it down does it become small again, ready to take on the size and shape that we choose, whether as rolls, loaves, or something more exotic. It is in the kneading that the dough is able to develop and grow, and it is in being allowed to rise slowly on its own that it becomes pliable and ready to take form.

Similarly, the Universal Creative Process invites us  to the “yeasty” experience of being lifted and expanded in consciousness, after we have worked on ourselves long enough to feel melded so completely with Spirit that we may then set a specific intention and find our creative thought taking form.  As we soar to spiritual heights, we can then bring a greater experience of heaven to earth, with complete sovereignty over our choices.

Dear Ones,

What a heart-lifting, mind-expanding, soul-satisfying Centers for Spiritual Living Convention Rev. Mike and I experienced last week. We returned uplifted and deeply grateful for our forward-thinking leadership, as well as delighted to connect with so many of our wonderful colleagues.  The theme, “Together in Joy” was perfect, as that was precisely our experience.

There is so much felt power and possibility when conscious, caring, compassionate people come together for the purpose of bringing more heaven to earth, and we feel blessed to be part of such a wise and loving organization. It is when folks walk together, united in a greater vision, that our world begins to heal, and a greater consciousness is revealed.  We rise together, bring our gifts, and invite Spirit to move us all to a higher level of understanding and expansion,
