“You cannot get through a single day without having an impact on the world around you. What you do makes a difference and you have to decide what kind of a difference you want to make.”   — Jane Goodall

Even as we seek to connect with the Power for Good within us to expand our consciousness and improve our individual lives, so we are aware of Chief Seattle’s wise words, “Humankind has not woven the thread of life. We are but one thread within it. Whatever we do to the web, we do to ourselves. All things are bound together.” It truly is not possible to claim a good for ourselves that we do not also desire for others, and our interdependence with nature is the foundation of equity, harmony, and life-giving energy.

We really needn’t “heal the earth,” as the earth is quite capable of healing itself.  Recall during the first stages of Covid-19, when people were staying home, and the air and waters were allowed to restore themselves, how sweet it was to see the stars and visit clear healthy lakes and oceans. It is we, ourselves, who are required to heal by making wiser decisions, resting in the natural, healing energies in which we partake, simply by being an integral part of this web of life.  There is a term called, homeostasis, which is the way our bodies, or the earth bodies, return to harmonious life expression when we cease interfering with them.

These are the powerful choices we are invited to make at this significant time, and, once we realize that our choices do impact those around us and the environment itself, the Infinite wisdom and Divine Love within us guide us clearly as to “what is mine to do today.”

As you scroll through our website at www.cslphilly.org, you will see classes and events coming up, as well as archived Sunday Celebrations and Love Notes from Rev. Mike and me.  Invite your friends to join us on Sundays, as we reach beyond physical borders to connect with people everywhere. Regrettably, we had internet challenges last Sunday with unsteady airing; yet, the entire Celebration is also available on the website and may be viewed at any time.

Until we are guided by CDC when we may wisely open our Center to in-person gathering, we continue meeting virtually, both on Sundays and for mid-week classes. We are grateful for the technology that permits us to continue to be together and expect to use this technology to maintain the live streaming even after we may be together again.

You may contact our Practitioners and Practitioner Interns on our website to guide you through any challenges with spiritual support. Do l00k at their page on the website, call on them by selecting someone with whom you relate, if you ready for an uplift.

With great love and respect,

Dr. Maxine
