Our spiritual work is best done in serene and faith-filled acceptance, relying on the generosity of Spirit and the dependability of the Law. We are wise to become aware of any areas of doubt or concern that might, otherwise, impede the fulfillment of our hearts’ desires, as we transform them into a positive, creative system of belief. A healthy expectancy opens our hearts and minds to the ease and joy of receiving our Good, and maintaining such a clear and receptive instrument insures the continued flow of blessings in our lives.

Once we have made a conscious, creative decision, we are to sustain trust in the choice we have selected, resting in calm, clear assurance that we chose wisely, are supported by Divine Wisdom, and responded to positively by the Law of Mind. We do not second-guess our decisions but maintain confidence in the spiritual guidance that led us to them. Awaiting the result with cheerful expectancy and growing gratitude is the wisest course of action.

Even if we decide later to choose differently, we can be thankful both for the good we received from the first demonstration and our freedom to set another cause into motion. Our whole lives are about choice, selecting that which is appropriate at the time, then deciding on that which is more in alignment with our needs in the next moment. Each conscious, caring decision we make brings us closer to awakening us to our Authentic Self and opens us to become greater receivers of Life’s Bounty.

We understand that “The idea is father to the experience,” meaning that our thoughts produce conditions in our lives and in the world.  Our conscious intention is the most essential ingredient in our creative work, as those undiscovered thought patterns within us continue to play out in our circumstances until we finally recognize and transform them.  Making a clear, conscious, wise, compassionate, and powerful choice generates the highest and best results in our individual lives, in our Beloved Community, and far beyond.  The world truly is in need of our deep faith and our continually expanding consciousness.

As we celebrate our fathers, grandfathers, uncles, brothers, sons, and all men who have contributed to our wellbeing over the years, let’s realize that it is the Indwelling Presence of Spirit within them that has shared the Wisdom and the Love guiding and lifting us still. Let’s also remember that the volitional aspect of Spirit dwells within each of us and makes it possible to generate greater and greater Good for ourselves and others.  This “Masculine Principle,” as Dr. Holmes referred to it, is the starting point of creation.

Just as Divine Mind is infinite in Its capability of producing possibilities beyond what has previously existed, so each of us selects and generates brand, new manifestations that were never before experienced, yet divinely inspired for greatness.  Let’s start something wonderful!

How wonderful it is to realize that we live in an Intelligent Universe and that we have moment-to-moment use of this Creative Intelligence. It is expressed through all nature, as well as through our own minds and bodies. As we learn to rely on Its Wisdom and follow this innate guidance, we find ourselves making clear, appropriate, loving, and intelligent decisions. We understand that we also have the ability to make erroneous choices, with their subsequent negative consequences. In Raymond Charles Barker’s wonderful book, “The Power of Decision,” he expresses amazement that human beings are capable of using this Intelligence rather unintelligently!

Let’s make powerful, creative, life-affirming choices in using the Power for Good that intelligently and consistently inspires the Law of Mind to grow those ideas into fruitful manifestations for our aliveness and wellbeing. We have been entrusted with this sacred and joyous responsibility, so let’s apply our greatest wisdom and discernment to each decision we make, assuring that it is for the greatest good of all concerned, including ourselves.

Since we understand that our most important gift is the power of choice, we are inspired to bring wisdom and clarity to each selection we make, in our thoughts, feelings, words, and behaviors. As we progress along our spiritual paths, we become more discerning, opting for that which is in integrity, expressing greater life, and aligned with universal harmony. We also are happy to find that, if a choice is made that is not for our highest good, we are free to choose again! The Law of Mind responds as reliably the second time as It did the first!

We have a perfect right to choose for ourselves the direction of our attention without the need to invite outside opinion, as we have sovereignty over our own minds and hearts. The Divine Intuition within us can always be depended upon to lead us in the right and true direction, as It comes direct from Spirit and is never confused with the human intellect. Indeed It works THROUGH our mentality, and we are wise to listen to Its promptings. Let’s become so selective in our decisions that we deepen our awareness of Divine Guidance and make wise and life-affirming choices every day.

This Generous, Abundant Universe gives freely and constantly of Itself, ready and willing to provide Its beloved creation with all that is necessary for its wellbeing. We enjoy a greater and greater supply of Its Bounty, as we open wider our consciousness of receptivity to Its Infinite Flow. No one would intentionally choose to block the flow of this Good; yet, we understand that hidden beliefs in limitation or past experiences of lack inadvertently close off the acceptance of greater good.

Let’s choose today to open our minds to the immensity of Infinite Possibilities of God’s Beneficence and our hearts to the depth of Divine Love, forever giving of Itself to all. The truth is: You deserve every good gift, spiritual and material, and nothing can possibly withhold it from you. Any false ideas to the contrary are already dissolving and being replaced with the joy of expanded Abundance and the fun of circulating it for good.

“Prove me now herewith, saith the Lord of Hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing that there shall not be room enough to receive it.” Shall we open our own windows . . . and doors . . . and receive the blessings that are already ours?
