March 21, 2023: From the Pen of Dr. Maxine

We have welcomed spring and are enjoying the coming season of revelation and rebirth, as we move closer to Easter and the glorious reminders of the New Life that has been present and awaiting our discovery. Nature reminds us constantly that what may appear lifeless is actually flourishing on an unseen level and preparing to bloom visibly at the right and perfect time.

This can be said also for the fallow times we may experience, when we may wonder when a sense of aliveness may return to us. A word of encouragement from a friend or loved one may be just what is needed to help us to remember Who we are and to rise above the temporary condition of limitation. The simple gift of a warm smile, gentle hug, or reassuring word costs us nothing, while providing welcome inspiration for the person who has momentarily forgotten their truth.

One of the most satisfying and productive things we can do to make a world a healthier place is to practice kindness, willingly inspiring others live from their greatness, just by reminding them of their spiritual origins. Isn’t this how we build “A World That Works for All?”

As we complete the March theme, “Encouragement,” we realize we have gained many spiritual tools for lifting each other to a higher level of consciousness, establishing a greater possibility for a wiser, kinder world in which we all may live. I’ll be speaking about, “Raising and Praising” at our Morning 10:30 Celebration as we live stream from the Inspiration Café in Paoli, and it can be accessed by going to our website www.cslphilly.org and using the “Watch” button. Do scroll through the pages to find events, classes, previous Celebrations and Love Notes.

While we successfully practice these sacred principles, there are times it is appropriate to reach out for prayer to help us through these experiences. Our Practitioner Page on the website provides information on our licensed GPCSL Practitioners, who stand ready to work with you, using spiritual tools for human problems. You may make an appointment with whomever you may select, either on the phone or in person.

With great love and respect,

Dr. Maxine
